THE Zeehan Garden Club is proof that from little things big things grow.
The club will host its second annual flower show on November 5.
After attracting more than 50 entries last year, club member Lorraine Hughes hopes this year's show will be sprouting with even more growers.
"We had a really, really good turn-out last time, and being the second year we hope to see even more," Mrs Hughes said.
The show, being held at the Zeehan Fire Brigade's headquarters, will feature 16 sections.
The top three entrants in each section will be recognised with a certificate.
Mrs Hughes encouraged all green thumbs to enter the competition.
"We've kept it basic and simple so it can be something for everyone who grows," she said.
"There's adult and children's categories.
"Even if you don't have a garden come down and enjoy a cup of tea and look at the flowers."
The flower show is just one project the garden club is working on around Zeehan.
They have recently acquired a number of rhododendrons from the Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden which they plan to plant around town.
"They're just about to bloom and they look remarkable," Mrs Hughes said.
"They will bring some colour to town."
Entries for the Zeehan Garden Club's flower show need to be brought to the Zeehan Fire Station by 9am on November 5.
The show will be open to the public from 11am, after judging has concluded.
